Indian planes are constantly being bombarded with false calls. Due to this, airline companies are losing crores of rupees, while the concern of the Ministry of Civil Aviation is increasing.
In order to prevent such crimes, the department is conducting extensive discussions while there have been bomb threats against 30 planes. Today IndiGo, Vistara and Air India received bomb threats. Adding to this, more than 130 aircraft have received bomb threats in the past few weeks.
According to reports, the number of flights that have received bomb threats has been for international flights. All these Indigo flights were going to Jeddah, Istanbul, and Riyadh.
Similarly, Indigo and Vistara flights have also received threats. Three companies have received threats against 30 planes with 10 letters each. As a result, extensive searches were conducted on the aircraft and passengers were screened.
Even though no such incidents have occurred so far, many flights are being made emergency landings for safety reasons. As a result, airlines have to bear losses of crores of rupees. In this regard, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu is holding frequent meetings.
He said that deliberations are underway to punish the guilty more severely and to add such crimes to the list of state crimes. However, the criminals are still unemployed.
