IRNA said ground stations also received signals from the satellites. The QM-100 solid-fuel satellite rocket was designed and built by the Revolutionary Guard’s Aerospace Division. Iran says it has launched 13 satellites in a row.
Although Iran has long planned to launch a satellite into orbit, this is the first launch under reformist President Massoud Pezhkian since the death of former president Ibrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash in May. Last January, Iran said it had successfully launched three satellites into space using a single rocket.
