Israel Launches Airstrike on Beirut, Killing 40 Amid Ongoing Conflict with Gaza and Hezbollah

Israel continues to fight with Gaza and Hezbollah. Meanwhile, Israel has once again launched an air strike. Bombs rained on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. 40 people including children lost their lives. Lebanon officials said Saturday.

According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, seven people died in the city of Tire on the beach on Friday, November 8. However, before the attack, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of many areas of the city. However, before attacking the city of Beirut, the Israeli army did not give any advance information. Meanwhile, the Houthi rebels claimed to have targeted Israel’s Nevatim Airbase with ‘ballistic missiles’.

Rescue operations continue in Lebanon after the Israeli attack. Lebanon’s health ministry said Saturday that 13 people were killed in attacks in nearby towns. Some doctors were also involved. Apart from this, 20 people were killed in an Israeli air strike near Baalbek.

On the other hand, the Israeli army issued a statement saying that the Hizbollah headquarters in Tire and Baalbek were targeted and attacked. These bases include fighter jets, operational apartments and weapons stores. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Israel has been attacking Lebanon since last year. In which 3 thousand 136 people have died so far. Among the dead are 619 women and 194 children.

It is worth noting that Israel has been continuously attacking Lebanon since September 2024. However, Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah has continued since October last year. On the other hand, Hezbollah is also continuously attacking through rockets and drones. It is worth noting that on Saturday, November 9th, Hezbollah attacked a military factory in the south of Tel Aviv.
