Hamas, the Palestinian militant group engaged in conflict with Israel in Gaza, has faced another significant setback. Israeli forces killed a top Hamas leader, Sayyid Attallah Ali, during an airstrike in Lebanon.
The bombing also claimed the lives of three members of his family. The Israeli airstrike targeted a Palestinian refugee camp in Dawi, Tripoli, northern Lebanon, where Ali and his family resided.
Hamas confirmed that Sayyid Attallah Ali, a leader of the Al Qassam Brigades, and his family were victims of Israeli bombardment. Following the attack, Hamas expressed deep mourning for their loss.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon continue, as Israel vows to eliminate both Hezbollah and Hamas. The conflict has already resulted in the deaths of over 2,000 people due to the bombings, and the Israeli army has initiated ground operations in Lebanon against Hezbollah.
