Khalistani terror has once again targeted the ongoing DGP conference in Bhubaneswar. Khalistani terrorist Pannu sent a threatening email to senior journalist Akshay Sahu, warning of attacks on Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik Airport. The email, which included an audio message, threatened that passengers should avoid boarding flights from the airport in the evening, while also promising to disrupt the DGP conference. Additionally, the message offered a 25 lakh reward for flying the Khalistani flag.
The threatening email reached Akshay Sahu at 9:40 am today. Upon receiving it, Sahu immediately informed the Commissionerate police, who assured him they would report the incident to the police station. Consequently, authorities took swift action in response.
The email, written in Odia and accompanied by threatening thumbnails, raised suspicions about potential support for Pannu’s activities within Odisha. As a result, authorities have launched an investigation to identify any sleeper cells operating in the state.
In response to the threats, security at the DGP conference at Lok Seva Bhawan has been tightened. The central security system and investigation department have raised their alert levels to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Meanwhile, the DGP conference is currently underway at Lok Seva Bhawan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and NSA Ajit Doval are actively participating on the second day of the event. The conference began this morning with a yoga session, followed by business sessions, breakout sessions, and thematic dining table discussions. Senior police officers will offer their valuable input on internal security and law and order during these sessions, before meeting with the Prime Minister.
