Shiv Sena has openly said that Ekanth Sinde will not accept the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Shirsat said that the assembly elections were fought by looking at Eknath Sinde’s face. Devendra Fadnavis and senior BJP leaders have also accepted it. So Sinde is eligible to be the Chief Minister.
He further said, “We demand that the face that has come forward should be given priority.” If BJP fulfills our demands then a good message will go to the people. If Eknath Sinde becomes the Chief Minister then we will get an advantage in the upcoming elections. It is because of Sinde that Mahayuti has won the elections.
Let’s say that on Tuesday, Eknath Sinde went to the Raj Bhavan and resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He submitted his resignation to the Governor in the presence of Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. In the Maharashtra assembly elections, Mahayuti won 230 seats out of 288 seats.
