A railway employee molested a minor girl in a moving train. Enraged, the passengers beat up the railway staff. One such fatal incident happened in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Such a hellish incident took place in the Humsafar Express train going from Barauni in Bihar to New Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Prashant Kumar, a railway employee.
According to the complaint of the minor’s mother, the accused has been accused of misbehavior while the family of the deceased railway employee has filed a murder charge.
The family of the victim, an 11-year-old girl, boarded the train from Siwana in Bihar and were on their way to Delhi. Prashant Kumar was walking in the train compartment after 11:00 pm when he found the minor alone. After questioning, the girl said that her mother was going to the toilet. After that, Prashant took the minor girl with him and misbehaved with him. When her mother arrived and was looking for the girl, the minor arrived and tearfully told her everything.
After the news spread, the other passengers in the train fled. Then they all started beating the railway workers together. At that time, when the train was traveling in the Esbagh area of Lucknow, Prashant Kumar was severely beaten up by the angry passengers till it reached Kanpur.
After the train reached Kanpur, the GRP worker rescued Prashant Kumar and admitted him to the medical center. But there the doctor declared him dead. While the GRP has started an investigation into the incident, it is reported that no one has been arrested.
