Today marks the inaugural district meeting of the Mohan government, bringing state leaders and district officials together for the first time since taking office. This two-day conference is being held at the Lok Seva Bhavan convention center.
District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) are actively participating, focusing on implementing various government schemes. The government aims to create a people-oriented administration, emphasizing the mantra: “government of the people, government for the people.”
The conference began at 9:30 AM with a welcome speech from Development Commissioner Anu Garg, followed by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja’s overview. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi outlined his government’s priorities for about 20 minutes.
The sessions include discussions on the ‘Subhadra Yojana,’ grain collection preparations, and initiatives for tribal communities, among others. Notably, the afternoon will focus on the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme and industrial development.
The final session will address complaint resolution and government service provision, concluding with a group photo with the Chief Minister. In the evening, district officials will enjoy dinner with the Chief Minister and cabinet members.
On the second day, the SP conference will begin at 9:30 AM, featuring DG Police YB Khurania and guidance from Chief Minister Majhi.
