A baby girl was rescued from a bush in Bhaura village, located under the Karanjia police station of Mayurbhanj district. The newborn was discovered alive by villagers, who immediately alerted the authorities. After being checked at the Karanjia sub-district hospital, the baby girl was admitted to the SNCU (Special Newborn Care Unit) due to her alarming health condition.
While her identity remains unknown, authorities suspect that the baby is a girl, as there are no details about her background. Following the discovery, the police launched an investigation to determine who abandoned the child and the reason behind it.
