BJD spokespersons Lenin Mohanty and Priyabrat Majhi announced, “BJD workers will remain at Shankha Bhavan until the threat of Cyclone ‘Dana’ subsides.” They emphasized that the party’s staff will assist people and the administration at the local level through a helpline, ensuring support is available to those who need it.

BJD has mobilized its workers, leaders, and retreat representatives to actively support the administration. They have urged citizens to remain cautious and issued two helpline numbers—9937057528 and 8984303534—for assistance.Meanwhile, BJP state president Manmohan Samal addressed the media, urging party workers, leaders, and elected representatives to stay alert and inform others about Cyclone ‘Dana’.
He emphasized that BJP members, including MPs, MLAs, and officials, will be stationed in their constituencies to support the administration in rescue and relief efforts. He also urged the public not to panic or fall for rumors, stressing the importance of cooperating with the government to evacuate residents from vulnerable coastal areas. BJP has also launched a helpline at 0674-2393984 for public assistance.
Mr. Samal encouraged collaboration across political lines and with social organizations to tackle the disaster. Additionally, he confirmed discussions with the state government regarding strict action against black marketeers of essential items.BJP Vice President Birchi Narayan Tripathi, Golak Prasad Mohapatra, and Spokesperson Phillip Mallick were also present during the press conference.
