A road accident occurred at Sahapur Bridge under the Manikoili police station in Jajpur district. Two trucks collided head-on, resulting in the death of one driver and leaving another seriously injured. The injured driver was rescued and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
This morning, one truck was traveling from Cuttack to Bhadrak, while another truck carrying marble was en route from Balswar to Bhubaneswar. The two trucks crashed head-on near Sahapur Bridge.
The collision claimed the life of the truck driver, and the other driver sustained severe injuries. Emergency services rescued the injured driver and admitted them to Jajpur District General Hospital. Following the accident, traffic on the bridge has been halted. Manikoili police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
