Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ celebrated its 10th anniversary today. In the 14th edition of the program, Modi expressed his emotions regarding this milestone.
He emphasized that the audience truly drives the success of ‘Mann Ki Baat.’ He stated, “The program has highlighted the public’s eagerness for positive information.”
This widely popular program airs in 11 foreign languages in addition to 22 Indian languages. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ launched on October 3, 2014, coinciding with Vijaya Dashami.
In today’s episode, Modi praised Ramjit Tudu, a young advocate for the Santali language from Mayurbhanj. The Prime Minister noted that Ramjit has successfully promoted his mother tongue online.
Modi remarked, “Ram Jit has showcased Santali literature to the world by digitizing the Santali language through his campaign.” He highlighted that the script of Santali utilizes the ‘alchiki’ typing technique. The Prime Minister acknowledged that Ramjit’s efforts have significantly increased the visibility of the Santali language to millions.
