Recruitment Halted After 12 Deaths, Soren Blames COVID Vaccine

A political storm has erupted in Jharkhand after the death of 12 young candidates during the physical test for the recruitment of constables by the Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). Chief Minister Hemant Soren blamed the central government for this unfortunate incident. He claimed that the death was due to side effects of covid-19.

Attending a program, Chief Minister Soren alleged that the vaccine given during the Covid-19 epidemic has led to unexpected deaths. Soren said, deaths are occurring due to side effects of vaccines given during the corona epidemic. A few youths have died in the recruitment drive, but these deaths are not due to running. People are dying suddenly while walking.

Soren also cited the covid-19 vaccine as the cause of these sudden deaths, pointing to an increase in deaths among both the young and the elderly. People across the country are dying of colds and coughs, and others are dying while running or walking. He claimed that not only the elderly but also the youth are losing their lives.

Constituent recruitment drive by JSSC aims to fill 583 vacancies in the vacancy department. According to official reports, 12 candidates have died since the physical examination started on August 22. However, the BJP claimed that the death toll has reached 15.

Intense political debate has started in Jharkhand regarding this death. BJP has demanded that the state government should give compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the families of the deceased candidates and give them government jobs. In addition, the party announced a financial assistance of Rs.1 lakh to the families of the victims.

In view of the growing political pressure, Chief Minister Soren has taken several steps. He ordered the recruitment process to be suspended for three days to avoid high temperatures and possible dehydration. In addition, he ordered to conduct all the exams before 9 am. On the other hand, the local police have registered a case of death and started investigating the incident.
