Bollywood actor Salman Khan finds himself in serious danger as his long-standing feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi intensifies. Following the recent murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, the Lawrence gang has issued new threats against Salman’s life, demanding ₹5 crore for his safety.
The Mumbai Traffic Police received a WhatsApp message that warned Salman he must pay the ransom or face a fate worse than Siddiqui’s. The sender claimed close ties to the Bishnoi gang, prompting the Mumbai Police to launch an immediate manhunt.
Earlier, authorities arrested an individual involved in a plot to kill Salman. On Wednesday, a police officer confirmed they apprehended Sukkha alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh, a sharpshooter for the Bishnoi gang. Police arrested him at a hotel in Panipat, Haryana, where he had disguised himself.
Police reached Panipat around 10:30 PM on Wednesday and detained Sukkha from room 104. He hails from Rerkala village in Panipat and reportedly received orders from the gang to shoot at Salman’s house. While some accomplices faced arrest, they managed to escape serious consequences. The police have made significant strides in their investigation into Baba Siddiqui’s murder as well.
