Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday sharply countered Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan, “Ek HO To Safe Ho.” stating that Maharashtra is already safe. Raut accused Modi of spreading division and instability, saying, “Wherever PM Modi goes in the state, unrest follows.”
Raut questioned Modi’s language, stating, “I don’t understand why the Prime Minister is using such terms. Earlier, he said, ‘Batenge to Katenge,’ which failed, and now he’s raising new slogans.”
According to Raut, “People are already safe in Maharashtra, but Modi’s visits bring insecurity by fueling division and unrest. For complete security and stability, we must eliminate the BJP.”
Prime Minister Modi, in his speech on Friday, accused Congress and its allies of sowing division among castes and urged people to unite under his slogan, “Ek HO To Safe Ho.”
