Kanauj district of Uttar Pradesh. A Scorpio car hit the divider on the Agra Lucknow Express early this morning and went to the other side of the road. Then there was a head-on collision with an oncoming truck. As a result, 6 people died.
Among the dead are 5 doctors including the car driver. These 5 doctors were posted at Saifai Medical College. They were returning to Saifai from Lucknow along with their other friends. However, due to the driver’s eyes getting stuck in the middle of the road, the car lost control hit the divider and fell on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
Apart from the 6 dead, one person named Jaybir Singh was seriously injured. He has been admitted to Saifai Medical College. The police have informed the family of the deceased and have sent the body for post-mortem and are continuing the investigation.
