The wait is finally over! The second installment of the ‘Subhadra’ scheme has reached the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. In this phase, more than 35 lakh beneficiaries have received their funds. Each beneficiary received a message confirming that ₹5,000 has been deposited into their account. In Parban, the excitement has soared in beneficiary households as the ₹5,000 reaches women’s accounts.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi distributed the second phase of the first tranche of the Subhadra Yojana in Baripadar Chou Malada. Additionally, the government has included the first one crore beneficiaries in the Subhadra Yojana.
During the event, Deputy Chief Minister Phamagi Parida announced that in the first phase, 25 lakh 11 thousand women received Subhadra funds. Today, in the second phase, an additional 35 lakh beneficiaries received their disbursements. By this evening, more than 60 lakh women will have money in their accounts.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that pairing one crore women within two months is unprecedented. Achieving one crore women in a single scheme sets a record. So far, the government has distributed 1 crore 60 lakh Subhadra application forms, with approximately 1.5 crore women completing the registration process.
