As soon as ticket sales opened, they sold out within minutes, creating an opportunity for fraudsters. Fortunately, Delhi Police acted swiftly, dismantling this gang and arresting an individual selling fake tickets. They recovered numerous counterfeit tickets, with the gang reportedly defrauding victims of ₹5 lakh.
The police revealed that the gang primarily targeted individuals through online ticket sales. Diljit will perform at the stadium from 7 PM to 10 PM on October 26.
Despite a prior warning from Delhi Police about potential ticket fraud related to Diljit Dosanjh’s “Dil-Luminati Tour,” a woman and her friend fell victim to scammers, losing a total of ₹21,000 in an online ticket scam.
Diljit plans to perform ten concerts across various cities, with Delhi and Mumbai as the major highlights. The tour kicks off at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26.
