Justin Trudeau’s attitude has changed after the Indian government expelled 6 Canadian high commissioners. Trudeau’s voice has softened after repeatedly claiming India’s involvement in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
He said he had no concrete evidence of India’s involvement in Nijja’s murder, only making allegations based on intelligence information. After such a statement by Trudeau, India has given a strong response. The Government of India has said that what India has been saying before has been proved.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs has said that what we are hearing today proves the claim we have been making. The Canadian government itself has admitted that it has been accusing India of Nijjar’s killing without any concrete evidence. We have repeatedly refuted these allegations, finally admitting that the allegations leveled by the Prime Minister of Canada are baseless.
However, Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in Canada last year. After a pause of a few days, Canada suddenly accused India of involvement in the murder. Due to this, the tension between the two countries increased. Because the Indian government rejected such accusations and adopted a strict approach.
Even recently, the two leaders did not use arms at the ASEAN summit held in Laos. After the Prime Minister returned from Laos, the Government of India recalled the Indian High Commissioner to Canada and expelled 6 Canadian High Commissioners.
A few hours later, Justin Trudeau again blamed India for Nijra’s murder. He alleged that Indian agents were working with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
