During the school’s annual celebration, chaos unfolded outside as a crook chased two youths along Beach Road. The incident occurred yesterday evening near Saraswati Children’s Vidya Temple in Kabisuryanagar town, Ganjam district.
The assailant severely injured Samir Biswal and Satya Biswal of Kavisurya Nagar Nuasahi. However, the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
While the annual function drew a crowd to Saraswati Children’s Vidya Temple, the miscreant pursued the two youths with swords outside the school premises, causing panic.
Medical teams initially treated both victims at Kabisuryanagar Medical Center, where they were stabilized before being transferred to Berhampur MKCG for advanced care.
Kabisuryanagar police are actively investigating the reasons behind the attack on the two youths.
