Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is back in the spotlight for his large family, comprising multiple children and their mothers. Musk, who has 11 living children, has decided to bring them all together under one roof to strengthen family bonds. To accommodate everyone, Musk purchased a massive 14,400-square-foot mansion in Austin, Texas, just 10 minutes from his main residence. The estate, which includes a separate building with six bedrooms, cost him $35 million.
Musk aims to bring his children and their mothers together so they can build closer relationships. He hopes that spending time together will foster a sense of unity among them.
Musk has fathered a total of 12 children; however, one child, born to ex-wife Justine Musk, passed away at 10 weeks old. Musk and Justine had five children together through IVF before they divorced. Musk then married and divorced British actress Talulah Riley twice, though they had no children.
From 2020 to 2022, Musk fathered three more children with Canadian singer Grimes. Additionally, Shivon Zilis, a director at Musk’s company Neuralink, became the mother of Musk’s twins in 2021 and later welcomed a third child with him. While Musk initially kept this private, he disclosed the birth of his children with Zilis in 2022. Musk now has six children born in the last five years: three with Grimes and three with Zilis. Except for one child, Musk now plans to bring all 11 children and their mothers into his new family residence.
