Youth Rivalry Erupts in Premnagar: Country-Made Bombs Explode, Causing Panic

Groups of youths clashed in Premnagar , resulting in the explosion of country-made bombs that caused widespread panic. The situation escalated as tensions grew over ongoing disputes, prompting one youth to file a complaint with local police.

Tushar Bhatnagar, a resident of Majhola Linepar Premnagar, reported that country-made bombs exploded outside his home. Following his complaint, the police registered an FIR against six named individuals and six unknown suspects.

Authorities swiftly arrested six people: Vivek Saini from Shriram Colony, Gurmeet Chaudhary from Jat Colony, Yash Gurjar from Kanshiram Nagar, and Nandini from Vikas Nagar Street No. 2, along with two minors found near St. Mary’s Ramlila Ground. Police also recovered 100 country-made bombs from the suspects.

During interrogations, investigators learned that a dispute between Jatin Chaudhary and Mukul Bhatnagar fueled the conflict. Members of both groups communicated through Facebook and Instagram, sharing posts and stories that intensified the rivalry. In a bid to intimidate Mukul, the opposing group targeted his home with bomb attacks at night.

Majhola Inspector Mohit Chaudhary confirmed that all accused individuals have been arrested. Vivek Saini faces charges related to explosive materials, while Gurmeet Chaudhary faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm and rioting. Yash Gurjar has a history of criminal cases, including attempts to murder, and Nandini also faces explosive-related charges.

The police have taken decisive action to address this troubling trend of youth violence in Linepar, as the rivalry between the two groups continues to pose a threat to community safety. Arpit Kapoor, CO of Civil Lines, stated that all involved parties will face the full extent of the law.
