The Assembly’s winter session begins today, with the Chief Minister set to present the additional budget on the opening day. The session includes 30 working days. From the start of the Mohan government’s second session, the opposition is gearing up to challenge the administration.
The BJD and Congress have planned to target the government on issues such as the Ambatakua deaths, Dhankina disruptions, deteriorating law and order, Adani controversies, and Mimardan.
Meanwhile, the BJP is prepared to counter the opposition’s attacks. The party aims to highlight the state government’s achievements over the past five months and showcase the fulfilment of election promises.
Additionally, the BJP has outlined a strategy to expose and counter corruption and inefficiencies during the BJD government’s 24-year rule. The House will begin its proceedings with a condolence proposal for a bereaved member.
