The All India DGP Conference is going to be held in Bhubaneswar from today. The capital is under tight security for the DGP conference. Commissionerate Police has made extensive arrangements for crowd control and traffic. A curfew has been issued for various places in Bhubaneswar from the 29th to the 1st. Vehicles are denied on the road for visiting VIPs.
Especially from Airport Street to PMG Street, Raj Bhawan Street, Rabindra Mandap Street to 120th Battalion and Jaydev Bihar, Nalko Street. Vehicles are not allowed on the road to visit VVIPs. My bus service will be disrupted due to this. I have been informed by Krut that my bus service has been disrupted on various routes. Route numbers 9, 10, 11, 12, AE1, AE2, 13, 17, 20, 21, 22A, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 44, 46, 47, 64 and 66 have been told that my bus service will be affected.
On the other hand, strict checking is going on at the city entrance and major intersections. Commissionerate Police along with BSF jawans have intensified patrolling in the city by checking vehicles.
