An unidentified driver attacked a cattle trader, killing him and two buffaloes in a tragic accident near Dharindhar Pali under Banai police station in Sundargarh district. The victim, Sankali Pot of Kantsara village, lost his life on the spot.
This morning, Sankali was heading to Gamlei Hut with two oxen when an unknown vehicle struck him near Dharpali. The collision claimed his life instantly. The incident sparked tension among locals, who demanded compensation for Sankali’s family.
Police have retrieved the body, sent it for autopsy, and initiated an investigation into the incident.
