
The 42nd India International Trade Fair 2023 is going on at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Like every year, this year too, exhibitions have been put up by various states. Odisha State Day has also been celebrated at India International Trade Fair. This year, the theme of the India International Fair 2023 is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam which emphasizes on the significance of interconnectedness and cooperation in trade.
Dalkhai, Sambaluri and tribal Birli dances were witnessed by thousands of spectators in the amphitheater of Pragati Maidan with great enthusiasm. The music of Abhilipsa Panda, who gained fame for Odisha by singing the song Har Har Shambhu, created a sensation in Pragati Maidan.
Its main attraction is the Konark Chakra made outside the pavilion. This pavilion shows the history of Orissa’s innovation. Along with this, the cultural tradition of Odisha is beautifully displayed. The main attraction of which is Karuna Silk. It shows 24 stalls of 8 divisions of the state.
Minister Pradeep Amat attended as the chief guest. Odisha Tourism Corporation Chairman Lenin Mohanty and Odisha Review Editor Kasturi Mohapatra, State Information and Public Relations Department officials were present in the program among others. The various cultural programs of the Odisha State Day celebrations were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience including the Immigrant Odiyaans.
‘India International Trade Fair 2023’ is going on from November 14th to 27th at Pragati Maidan. One of the main attractions in this grand fair is the ‘Odisha Pavilion’. Where art, culture, agriculture, industry and commerce of the state and the picture of the overall development of the state is reflected.
