The Odisha government has allocated Rs 1935 crore for the CM Kisan Yojana, a new scheme for farmers, in the latest budget. The scheme will be implemented under the framework of the PM Kisan Yojana. This move is expected to benefit farmers in the state significantly. The budget for agriculture has seen a significant increase, from Rs 24,829 crore last year to Rs 33,919 crore this year. The government has also announced that paddy will be purchased at Rs 3100 per quintal, which is Rs 800 more than the fixed Minimum Support Price (MSP)

The government has announced several new schemes for farmers, including the Prosperous Farmers Scheme, for which a budget of Rs 5,000 crore has been allocated. Additionally, Rs 649 crore has been allocated for the Srianna Abhiyan scheme, and Rs 10,000 crore for the Subhadra Yojana, which was announced during the elections.

The government has also allocated funds for various healthcare schemes, including Rs 3,056 crore for the Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana, Rs 500 crore for the Ayushman Bharat scheme, and Rs 2,462 crore for the Chief Minister’s Health Service Mission. Other significant allocations include Rs 649 crore for the Shri Anna campaign. These allocations demonstrate the government’s commitment to supporting farmers, improving healthcare, and promoting overall development in the state
